BLACK Nikon S3 2000

After introducing their Nikon S3 2000 in chrome, Nikon announced Black Paint S3's will go on sale June 2002.  Production is said to be limited to 2000 pieces.

IF Nikon Rangefinders are new to you,  an original like new in the box classic vintage BLACK Nikon S3 would probably sell for $15,000 or more.

Included are the boxed Black Enamel S3 body with new optical formula multi-coated 50/1.4 (the only multi-coated Nikon RF Nikkor), lens hood and lens cap, camera strap in a presentation box, with  boxed camera case, and outer box for the body and case.

These are close to a SELLOUT in Japan.   I expect prices will start climbing once all stores are out of them.  The black S3 2000 will likely be a much better investment than the more common chrome S3 2000 (estimated 2000 black production vs. 8,000 chrome production).
