These 5x8" cards are jam-packed with information. Normally, you'd get a set of two for a particular flash (an instruction card and a data card):
Back of the SB-28
data card, which contains a full set of reference numbers for the Speedlight
(separate cards are available for feet or meters).
Front of the
SB-28 instruction card, which contains concise instructions on how to perform
basic flash functions.
I produce these cards on demand, printing them on archival matte paper and then running them through my Brother Cool Laminator. Available now are the following card sets:

Each instruction card typically contains operating instructions for TTL, Auto, and Manual flash; setting ISO; repeating flash; high-speed flash; autofocus assist, tables for matching GN to ISO; and quick and dirty modifications to make to a GN for unusual conditions (bounce, outdoor, angles). The data card typically contains aperture and flash range tables for automatic and TTL flash at all flash head settings, GNs at all power level and flash head setting combinations, flash duration, and additional information on high speed and other features, if applicable. Data cards come with information in feet or meters (or you can order both).
