Thom's Spring Cleaning, Round 2

Okay, this time I'm serious about getting the closests cleaned.

Here's how this works: first come, first served. US and Canadian orders only, please. Sending any of this stuff overseas adds paperwork, complexity, and hassle, and I'm trying to make this simple and fast for me. I'll update this page every day, if possible, so that the items on it are still likely to be available.

  1. If you see something below that you'd like, send me an email indicating you'd like to purchase it. Prices indicated below include regular USPS or UPS shipping and insurance (for items over $100) in the US (for FedEx shipping, you'll need to supply me with your FedEx account number). Canadian residents will have things shipped via Postal Service and there will be a customs form on the box (don't ask me to not do so). What you see is what you pay, period.
  2. If you're the first to email me about purchasing the item, I'll send you the information and link that'll allow you to complete the purchase (credit cards will be accepted through PayPal).
  3. When payment is received, the item gets shipped. If payment isn't received in a timely fashion, I'll put the item back up for sale.

I've tried to provide an accurate description of each item. If you have a question about an item, feel free to email me, but remember, this is first-come, first-served. I expect many of the items to go quickly, so asking questions decreases the chance that you'll get it. Note that I've priced these things below what I'd get off an eBay auction. I'm trying to just clear space fast so I can get the floor finishers in to redo the offices. Those that have dealt with me before know that this stuff is in great shape and that I often throw free surprises into the box.

Only remaining items this round:

  • Pioneer Laserdisc player and 100+ quality and interesting laserdiscs. Player in original box, with remote and manuals. This is a heavy, three-box item not really suitable for FedEx, if you're so inclined. Reason for selling: DVD has displaced laserdiscs for me, and I need the shelf space. Note that the price is less than $4 a movie. Good thing for Columbia House that this is a one-time offer. $399.
  • Arion Mirage 901 Slide Projector programmable syncronizer. Top of the line (supports fast cuts, dissolves, overlay, etc.). Requires two Kodak-type slide projectors (Carousel, Ektagraphic, Ektapro, Elmo Omnigraphic, Leitz Pradolux). Includes cables, manual (if you're real lucky, I might even find and throw in two calibrated alignment slides--but at the moment they are missing in action). Reason for selling: moved to digital slideshows. $199.
  • Tascom Porta 02 cassette tape multitrack recorder. Used to coordinate multi-projector slide shows (see item just above), but originally designed for musicians wanting to cut up to 4-tracks of music with overdub, etc. Reason for selling: moved to digital slideshows. $99.
