NEW Nikon Rangefinder and Contax Rangefinder Mount R2S, R2C Bessas and Lenses!
At Photokina 2002 Cosina announced the new Bessa R2S in classic Nikon Rangefinder mount, and the new Bessa R2C in classic Contax Rangefinder mount. These are the FIRST production cameras ever in these mounts to offer TTL metering, or trigger winder, not to mention the brightest finder and RF patch EVER for these mounts. This is a big deal for Nikon and Contax collectors who have waited forty years to have such a camera to shoot with. Also announced were 28/3.5, 50/2.5, and 85/3.5 lenses, all in Nikon S rangefinder mount. . R2S & R2C INFO PICS
The Voigtlander 21/4, 25/4, and 35/2.5 SC Skopars are the 1st NEW wides available for Nikon or classic Contax Rangefinders in over 30 years. Only one production run is planned at this time. IF they don't sell well, this will probably be the only run. Compared to their MUCH more expensive classic Nikkor counterparts, these new lenses are GREAT bargains. Most NRF shooters have never shot with a 21 or 25 Nikkor. #1 they are very difficult to find, #2 they are so expensive any sane photog is afraid to use them least they become lost or damaged. Included with the SC Skopars is an optional quick focus attachment which fits over the focusing barrel, if you prefer lens barrel focusing over the index focusing wheel.

Classic Voigtlander Prominent 50/1.5 Nokton, 50/2 Septon Adapter to use the classic Voigtlander Prominent's 50/1.5 Nokton or 50/2 Septon on classic Nikon or Contax rangefinders (not G series). Limited Production "Luxury" Voigtlander SL Series SLR Lenses
ALL Voigtlander Manual Focus SL lenses are styled to look like classic black/chrome Zeiss Contarex lenses. All have Nikon style focusing helical rotation. All except the 12 and 15 super wides have chrome bayonet mount lens hoods, like the old Contarex lenses. All are made to extremely high construction standards -- you won't appreciate how high until you examine an SL lens for yourself. Available are fixed manual focus Canon FD, Contax / Yashica MM, Pentax K-A, Pentax Screw Mount, Nikon AIS, and Minolta MD, and Olympus OM mounts.
