Introduced in 1980 and designed to be used only on the Nikon F3, the SB-12 provides TTL flash exposure.

Accessory SW-4 wide-angle adapter for 28mm lens coverage. The SB-12 can be used off camera in manual mode by connecting an SC-14 cable between the camera and the SB-12’s Sync Connector, or additional an additional flash can be controlled.
