The SB-22 is a workhorse flash that has a basic set of features, a reasonable guide number, and a very fast recycling time. It was introduced in 1987.

The SB-22 can synchronize with up to three additional flashes. Head tilts from –7 degrees below horizontal up to 90 degrees above horizontal.
